There are several resources you can use to learn more about Sequoia
2000 ("S2K") and its goals. The CS Division at Berkeley has a nice

- S2K Slide Show
A set of Persuasion slides that give a high-level overview of the
project have been digitized and placed on-line. (You will need a
viewer capable of rendering GIF files.)
- S2K Technical Reports
A large number of Sequoia 2000 technical reports are available from
this server. These include a pair of overview papers, one written by
the former
computer science
project co-director, Mike Stonebraker, and the other written by the
earth science
project co-director, Jeff Dozier.

at the San Diego Supercomputer Center. This home page has some
on-line demos and displays that explain what we're doing in a more
exciting, graphical format.
