Contours are a special case of isolines, referring specifically to elevation values. Note that as the elevation values are stated in lines, the z values for each point need not be provided; thus, for example, CoordXY may be used instead of CoordXYZ for the position of each point.
generation provides information about how the contours were generated, whether for example they were collected through stereo digitization or derived through interpolation.
