Two attributes define GlobalMetaData. The first contains information about the SAIF release, SAIF and user profiles, and date and time. The second, which is optional, contains routing information including the query and data ID numbers, the originator (or sender) of the data and the addressee (receiving the data).
The global metadata applies to all data within the transfer. It is roughly equivalent to the idea of header information in a file.
